It is not easy. It is not fast. And it is entirely yours!

But what if?! In lieu of shutting down, you could turn on to an activity worth your time?
Animastria™ exercises your creative, critical, and lateral thinking so that facing (most of) life’s surprises might become more...fun?!
Animastria™, and the Unlost Gladstone is a portable escape room that reconnects adults with play.
Why?
Who knows—it just might wake up something within you that you didn’t know had nodded off.
Adulting is hard! So we trade in our fairy wings for an EZ-Pass, only to one day realize that all the magic is gone.
And along the way, from distraction, or habit, we end up scrolling, outsourcing to ease what it means to be alive.

Doc's gladstone holds 4 unique games that unfold into architectural landscapes:
Level 1: The Topsy Turvy Teatro
Level 2: Flip n Fly Aeronautilus
Level 3: Salt & Spoon Café
Level 4: *Locked*
Using a guide, the player embarks on a journey to decipher codes hidden within the illustrated walls of each structure.
The goal of each level is to learn the name of the character.

It is proudly designed, sourced, manufactured –and assembled by hand – entirely in Los Angeles.
Made of paper—and made to last—your game can be replayed, or displayed as a proud accomplishment, proving that sustainability is more than just what we make, but how we make it, and what we do with it.
Number of Players
Animastria™ is a quest game in analog format. Work alone or with another! Because of the length of the game, play is best when shared with someone under the same roof!
To play the quest independently, new players only need to purchase a separate set of guides, which can be used with the same gladstone game. Save money, and the environment!
Game Length
After weekday dinners, or on Sunday afternoons, solving this WILL take time.
And that's okay.
Animastrians appreciate a slow burn. Let's get back to a time when we had to wait a week for the next episode to air. Besides, you likely didn't need the hint; just the time for your creativity to catch up to your curiosity.
Guides track progress as levels get played. And since they are their own packages, all levels easily travel solo or together, for play on the go.
Hints and Help?!
There is no need to use the internet. Anything you think you don't know is somewhere in the game. Even a quick lesson on color theory!
When you get stuck, just pause. Maybe ask a friend? Take a break? Let the problem marinate. If you're still stuck, check out the Hints page on the website.
It's nice to be told the answer. But it's better to find it yourself. What if, this time, you believed in yourself?
