Animastria, and the Unlost Gladstone is a portable escape room that reconnects ADULTS with play.

Adulting is hard! So we trade in our fairy wings for an EZ-Pass, only to realize that suddenly all the magic is gone.
And along the way, either from distraction, or habit, we scroll—outsourcing to technology what it means to be alive.
Ultimate Mission
Doc's gladstone holds 4 unique games—each with a player's guide—and unfolds into an architectural landscape:
Level 1: The Topsy Turvy Teatro
Level 2: Flip n Fly Aeronautilus
Level 3: Salt & Spoon Café
Level 4: *Locked*
Using the guide, a player embarks on a journey to decipher codes hidden within the illustrated walls of each structure.
The goal of each level is to learn the name of the character living inside. That name is a password to unlock the elemenope's vault where the adventure continues.
Solve all levels and discover if you're the Prophesied One destined to save Animastria before its lights are dimmed!
Sustainability
Thoughtfully designed to minimize impact on the planet, Animastria is made with FSC Certified paperboard sourced in the Eastern United States, and later assembled by hand entirely within a 20-mile radius of L.A.
The sustainable design results in lightweight, compact games that require less fuel for shipping, and fit more units per shipment, to preserve a small environmental footprint.
And since it’s made of paper—and made to last—your game can be replayed, or displayed as a proud accomplishment, proving that sustainability is more than just what we make, but how we make it, and what we do with it.
Number of Players
Animastria is a quest game in analog format. Work alone or with another! Because of the length of the game, play is best when shared with someone under the same roof!
To play the quest independently, new players only need to purchase a separate set of guides, which can be used with the same gladstone game. Save money, and spare the environment!
Time Expectations
After weekday dinners, or on Sunday afternoons, solving is meant to take time—days, even weeks!
Animastrians appreciate a slow burn. Extended play understands that most often, you already know the answer, you just needed a moment for the "Ah-ha!" to find you.
Guides help track progress as levels get played one at a time. And since they are their own containers, levels easily travel for play on the go.
People solve Animastria at different times and in different ways, expressing different strengths within the range of puzzles provided.
Hints and Help?!
The hints you may require to solve the puzzles are hidden throughout the puzzle. Side quests reveal tips and tricks to guide the journey.
When you get stuck, just pause. Maybe ask a friend, take a break, let it marinate. If you're still stuck, check out the Hints page on the website.
It's nice to be told the answer. But it's better to find it yourself. Persistence and Curiosity are always rewarded.
